Overall, it was the nicest resort in Oahu and will definitely stay again when renovations are finished!
- What did you like most? The property was very clean and elegant!
- Was there anything you didn't like? There were undergoing renovations and had some parts of the resort closed off which didn’t reflect on the price AT ALL
Old and classy, but outdated
- What did you like most?Superb location on Kahala Coast of Oahu, facing the ocean and right next to the Waialae Country Club. Isolated from Waikiki’s hustles and bustles, it’s relatively calm and well secluded from any other urban noises.
- Was there anything you didn't like? The hotel building and adjacent facilities are old and outdated. The main building was built in 1964, hence its facilities and equipment are obviously outdated. The bathroom’s facilities and amenities were just old, not comparable to other new first-class hotels. Once famed breakfast was not great either —buffet’s selections are relatively limited, for example, with only one fruit juice choice every morning.
