Important Information
The AtypiQ hotel is a unique concept. You should expect that rooms are smaller than normal, but 100% efficient. A very large common room as well as a garden and a terrace await you to enjoy your stay!Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A damage deposit of CAD 150.0 is required at checkin. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on checkout via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

Good, but not great. Nice & small room with some downsides.
- What did you like most?First of all, the location of the hotel was great, as expected, the room was small, but the idea of being able to move the bed up and down for more space is not bad. Realistically, you don't move it up or down at all. At best, you can store your luggage underneath it. The bathroom was decent. The kitchen area was great and more usable than I initially expected. You might want to come down a little earlier though if you want to still get some orange juice! That one could have done with some more refills.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Unfortunately, the ventilation in the room was not great at all. The AC did not really work as you were neither able to control the temperature nor did turning it on or off work. What made this worse was that you were NOT able to open the windows to get some fresh air which was especially annoying as the air in the morning was very dry with the AC running all night in the room and the tiny room just needs more ventilation more often. Screwing down the windows seems quite conter-productive. Another negative point was that the carpet didn't really feel clean. As we were there in the winter, you were able to feel, I assume, salt from the shoes of people that were walking around in the room with their outside shoes. The last annoying point were the outlets above the bed! Never in my life have I seen such flimsy outlets. Due to them being recessed a little in the wood, a bigger charger does not go all the way in and it fell out with the slightest breeze.
