Hotel Features
This environmental-friendly hotel is within a 5-minute walk from the Concert Building, Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum. Conscious has been awarded with the Green Key Gold and serves an organic breakfast. Free WiFi is available. In addition, to support the environment, the hotel consists of many recycled, sustainable and certified materials and operates solely cashless. A 40-inch LED HD flat-screen TV, a modern bathroom and a work desk made from recycled materials are provided in each of the rooms. In the bathrooms, there are eco-cotton towels and water-saving shower heads. Conscious Hotel has a lounge, a breakfast room and a green furnished garden where guests can enjoy their breakfast if the weather allows it. This hotel offers bicycle rental, for an additional charge. Our breakfast is 100% organic and vegetarian. Great - we would stay here again when we come back to Amsterdam.
- What did you like most?Hotel staff including the cleaning services were kind and very helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the museum square area and beyond, and we were able to walk everywhere with the hotel serving as a home base. Complimentary wine and cheese 5-6pm every day was a very nice bonus.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Room was a bit small but functional and worked overall for my husband (5' 6") and I (5' 2") who are smaller than average. Lack of a refrigerator and microwave, and too many unavailable tv channels were very minor inconveniences
